In fact, one single suit is made out of approximately 25 recycled 2-liter plastic bottles! According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), apparel made from recycled material uses 66% less energy compared to the manufacturing of polyester fiber. This process also reduces water usage by 90% and helps eliminate harmful air emissions. The suiting collection is machine washable which further saves the environment by reducing the use of toxins and harsh chemicals used in the dry cleaning process. Since this collection does not require professional cleaning, employees benefit from lower cleaning costs. Based on average purchases, these savings could reach $1,000 per employee annually!
